Position: European Informatics Associate (home office based)

In the role of Informatics Associate you will work closely with Spectrums Clinical Field Team as well as with Perfusionists, Doctors, Nurses, Biomedial Engineers and IT-Professionals to help install, customize, train and optimize all components of our Digital Solutions. This includes but is not limited to training and configuration of the EMR-System, training and configuration of LiveVue, the Remote Patient Monitoring Platform, customization and validation of individualized Reports. Helping with installation and implementation as well as helping with 3rd Party Medical Device integration.
Under the guidance of the Director for Clinical Informatics Europe, and in coordination with the Implementation Project Manager, the Informatics Associate is responsible to assist with the implementation, configuration, customization and training of clinicians in the utilization of the current ECLS and Perfusion Informatics software.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities include the below but are not limited to, as your manager may ask you to perform tasks outside of the normal job description.
· Works independently with general instruction and broad work expectations
· Configures the VIPER software specific to customer needs and/or Spectrum Medical goals
· Configures Live Vue
· Configures, customizes and adjusts Reports
· Assists and/or completes device connectivity and aids in whatever manner required for customer
implementations
· Designing third party device connectivity solutions to suit different hospital environments.
· Completing site surveys and arranging for all necessary equipment to be ordered.
· Collaborates with field clinical sales team to optimize and customize Informatics builds
· Assists and tests customer settings before, during and after software updates
· Travel to customer sites for implementations, training and/or support
· Extended and overnight stays may be necessary
· Provides customer support via phone, email and/or text to aid customers in troubleshooting and/or
improving their experience and utilization of Spectrum software
· Coordinate with other Spectrum Depts. to be sure any customer issues are reported and documented in
compliance with Spectrum Quality Processes (SOP).
Organizes and prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines. Coordinates training and meeting schedules. Takes ownership of trouble shooting and customer service to Users, advising on the clinical and technical use of Quantum Informatics.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
or work experience in medical field (such as Nurse, Perfusionist, OR-Nurse, Anaesthesia-Nurse, etc.)
or Biomedical engineering
or IT experience
or comparable experience
Willingness and ability to work in a highly clinical hospital environment and team with Perfusionists, Nurses,
Physicians, IT-People, Biomedical Engineers etc.
Willingness and ability to understand clinical procedures and workflows
Willingness and ability to understand the digital integration of Spectrum products into the hospital digital
environment
Willingness and ability to deep dive into Spectrums UI`s for VIPER and Quantum Informatics and configure them
customized to the customers’ needs
Excellent communication skills
Appreciation of the importance of attention to detail
Self-driven, highly motivated to perform
